I have a windows system and I have turned off my virtual memory. When I start Photoshop, it tells me to turn it back on... how do i get rid of this warning message?

if you have enough ram, ignore the warning (enough = more than a gig, maybe 1.5, not 512mb)
if not, go turn it back on.
also take into consideration if you're working with small lo res things in PS or large hi res stuff.. hi res, keep it on, lo, maybe turn it off.i did it for a while thinking it would speed things up a bit... didn't notice any diff
my 2 cents
