Today has been a long ass day. Make the pain stop. Figured I might as well start another useless thread
I need to find a new career. Coworker here is leaving a good paying job to persue his dream of making his record label big. Moving back to Chicago and stuff. Kinda nice that he is following his passion.
Makes me wonder what the hell I'm doing.

tell him to take a number and get in line with the chicago record label thing. i go out and meet 3 or 4 shit wads a night who have their own label or are talking about it. it's rediculous.

He has a label: http://post436records.com and they've already put out several albums. Good stuff too. He has a lot of artists in the midwest area. I think he will definitely go far. Things somehow align when you follow your dream.devaur
I'm a designer/developer. At my current job I'm a front-end developer scrub. Code html and css all day. Fun. I am really a Flash developer that took this job to stay afloat and make sure my son got nice gifts for Christmas. =]I still do Flash work but mostly on the side. Would rather a job doing that all day. I'd actually like to do consulting or a job where I get paid to travel, take pics and write about it. Fresh!

I just wanted to give a bit of a plug to my coworker. I think he is doing well and heck, if he doesn't make it, he will never be able to look back and say "If only I had..."
That's my biggest regret. I had plans to move to Japan and work there. Job, ticket and passport were in hand...then along came
and a world full of drama with my baby mama.
