how can i record sound plauyin on my laptop, iv tried soundforge xp but that aint working for some reason

it really depends on what type of sound you are trying to record. the sound of your laptop doing something? or are you trying to run some audio externally into your machine/HD?

don't use SFxp, it's pure sh*t. Download the Demo Version of Sound Forge from SONY Media's site. The demo version acts as a full version for thirty days, very nice.

there is software that will enable you to record any PC sound, but to be honest if it's a sound that software is making, then it's somewhere in your programs.
