How many designer here have interviewed other designers for a new job.
I was amazed how many of them come to the interview in jeans and a wank t-shirt. There was one nob head hue could not evan find the building. He ringed me up about 4 time asking me where it was. In the end I had to go and collect him off the street. It turned out he was standing out-side are building all the time.
For GOD sake sort it out.

"he only lasted 3 week under the brave bald michael carver"
- thats quite a long time to spend being buggered by a coke sniffing, shaven irish man dressed as a red indian.

How did your interview go Uncle_helv?
- carver0
raskers, i never fuckin' touched him, christ i hardly spoke to him. and that night down the pub with the gay, i've never felt so embarassed in all my fuckin' puff! i left bloody early that night to go to strip joint for christ sake, and got of with two burds in a nite club later on, i hasten to add! a little 'something' in their pints, done them both(at the same time :) daft eh?

What's wrong with wearing jeans to an interview? Do they effect your design skills and how good you will be at the job? And if you get lost, you bloody get lost. Big deal.

I always wear casual clothes to interviews. If they don't like it fuckem - they've obviously got no personality. And nessdog's right - it doesn't affect your design skills.
- rasko40
yeah for sure, casual all the way. I've never owned a freakin suit in my life, well 'cept for my sis's wedding, and my other sis's wedding I wore jeans, silly moo - TAKE OUT!!

its better to over dress than underdress.. unless you have good clevage
- carver0
don't matter hen, i was always just 'mentally stripping' them anyway, when we had the chicks in, not the blokes obviously! i could tell alot from the way the dressed at the interviews like, tits hanging out and pants showing was always a good sign come the christmas party season! they always got the job, and done the 'job' if you know what i mean. so, yeah, chest out&stroll on! daft eh?

no one wears suits in this industry, but you need to show professionalism at your first interview. You're trying to impress, right?
- ********0
i wear a suit jacket...
- rasko40
I wear a straight jacket.

If you're not sure - don't be afraid to ask the person you set the interview up with what the dress code for the interview is

didi ever tell you about the interview i went on and teh guy kept commenting on whata good handshake i had... said nothing about my work or anything kept going back to the handshake lol what a freak!
- ********0
I had an interview where the guy asked me what I would spend all the money I would earn on (it was a sales job) I told him that was none of his business. I mean, what a f*cked up question to ask someone
- rasko40
hahah eeuw just imagine, when he was shaking your hand at length, and when he was commenting on it later, what he was really thinking was "hmm, this dame got a good grip, *sniff sniff* she could really jerk it hard *sniff* yeah so hard.. and great skin *sniff* full of blood, great shake hmmm"
