Got a mate who's a fantastic illustrator/animator. His work is ace, but he still can't find a job. Anyone know where he may have better luck? Perhaps an agency would help him find work? I don't know what to tell him.

(He's not now). Thanks so much for your emails, helped! :)This thread's not the same chap actually, this guy's a really talented illustrator. Works so hard, still no job, booo!

I got my first freelance when shopping clothes. I just asked if they were interested in some new designs for their new collection. They did, so..tadaaaa ! The funny thing is that i didnt buy anything :P

Moxiedog, Smellvetica tipped me off about this thread yesterday - if your mate is still looking for help, get him to mail me - I'll see if I can steer him in the right direction. Shame to see talent go to waste
