Beckham has been slated but the stats before last nights game were saying that he way sending over the most telling crosses of the tournament.
Also everyone constantly goes on about all the marketing etc. that is not involved with the game, and you're all more interested in saying what rooney looks like... give the kid a break.
He's also probably the brainiest person in that squad, football wise.

I was in Singapore last week and heard a news story about all the asian kids who loved Beckham have been replacing their Beckham posters with Rooney posters. Is this the end of the Beckham 'brand'? Will we see Rooney in diamond earings and a sarong? Will he marry one of the Sugarbabes?
