flash ghost files

  Anybody know what happening here. I've created .swf files from my .fla's. unseen by me(on my mac) there are corresponding .swf's with the prefix (._) added in the folder that the QA peeps(veiwing on PC) are seeing and freaking out about. Are these just log files? Do they do anything.

  Example:

  soandso.swf

  will generate

  ._soandso.swf

  They are all 1k size

  anybody?
