Hey All, a new site by our studio we hoped people would have a look at.
It's for a dealer in antique and modern european tapestries (the only one in the US).
There's a lot of really rare artwork from master artisans to view, and we hid a few goodies in the navigation to minimize the text overlay in any section and to also find descriptions from the Dealer.
Thanks for all feedback, hope you enjoy!

nice looking site.
i like the zoom feature for the artwork.
the only bit of weirdness i found was the the scrollbar for the text areas shifts to the left a pixel or so when you use it.

bloody nice that -!

weird feedback messup...
anyway, thanks jeevad, we spent a ton of time on the details. Client paid for HTML site, we wnet hog wild because it was too good an opportunity to rock the images.
Hoping to submit for some awards or some sites of the week. Have any faves?

damn, we didn't see that Blaw, thought we'd covered every detail possible!! I have a bit of a problem w/ the speed of the scroll in certain areas, but the client so did not pay for a Flash asite like this we had to stop!!

not bad at all..
but i can just picture my mother trying to navigate this site......

hey Nick,
I thought it was pretty straightforward really, though not sompletely straight-up. That's why if someone never finds the hidden text overlays in the blue box, or never hides the text where the content is, it's still just the sections at the top and the small tabs at the bottom.
What was confusing?
it's always hard to know how well what you're planning translates

it wasn't difficult for me to figure out, and wouldn't be for anybody who is familiar with Flash sites and their varying navigation systems.
but my mother does this type of stuff, she designs/teaches and ran her own studio until this year.. and i just have a feeling that she will have trouble navigating..
i'm actually going to call her and give her the link.. i'll let you know what she thinks! ;)

Hey, Thanks Nick, hope she enjoys it!

loved it, but why ther popup?
- mcfly0
hey mrdobolina,
At 800x600, the buttons of a standard browser push the content off screen, we needed to eliminate them otherwise the height would have lost 150 pixels.
No other way to elimibate them.

awesome site.
The only thing I would like to see is a percentage on the load screen and thats it!
