job market in london / paris

  hi there, i guess this question gets asked alot, but how's the graphic / web / motion / effects / design market in london or in paris? do firms look for talent, or is that just not relevant anymore?

  from canada, in a year, i'm thinking of working in london eventually, or paris, but i'd be happy to take on a shitty design job until i can find something better.

  any insight would be great.
