Anyone been to the Barry McGee exhibit @ Brandeis University?

no but you'd be a fool not to, the only mcgee exhibition over here has been in a small back street gallery in east london a couple of years ago, it was good but just too small. I'm a huge appreciator of mcgee's stuff.. the foundacione prada book is worth a purchase. I'd loved to have seen Street Market in tokyo too, maybe they will tour it sometime.

I wish. The closest I've come is the DJ Shadow insert, and a couple pieves in Houston [store in seattle]

yeah i went a couple of weeks ago. it was, uh, very noisy. couple of wrecked cars with horns and backing-up sounds going off....
i'm always awed by how prolific the guy is. covering entire walls with drawings and such...
good stuff.

Twist is one of my favorites. The book that they have on YWFT of his is awesome.

i haven't, but it's supposed to be incredible.

if any of you get to San Fran ever have a look around south of market and the mission, a lot of his old throw ups are still around....

Yup, same goes for if you ever ride the CalTrain, a lot of his screws were still out on that line.
