Hey,
What are your favourite sports brands campaigns out at the moment and why? NIKE - PUMA - ADIDAS - REEBOK - and any other you might think of. I am writing a dissertation on this and was curious about what design concious crowds like.

If you look around, You'll see that Nike has a strong marketing strategy that focuses on the new designers/artists..

Come on guys, please for once try to be serious and give your brain a shot of trying to think.
Resist the urge to be smart asses and respond with sport things like Fishing and all, i am asking for a discussion/debate on the state of sport/lifestyle brand advertising today. Lets be civilized please.PS: this is aimed at people who put links to stupid unrelated brands and make dumb comments

Working in the athletic industry, i can tell you the market is wide open and very few brands actually step up and are cool.
the new "outperform" by Reebok is great, I really like the b/w photos and links to the athletes throughout the ages. Mostly th eprint though.
Obviously Nike is pretty cool.
I like the adidas billboards with just the stripes waving in clothing, and I saw a Muhammad Ali mural by adidas in Portland that was the bomb diggity.

I feel that most of these companies are not only inspiring you to purchase their products but also pursue a more active lifestyle. Take for example the latest “Impossible is nothing,” campaign from Adidas, (http://usa.adidas.com/) I feel like I should improve my life from some of these ads. That drives sales, true, but I’m not buying Adidas. And yet, the ads still had an effect.

Ok, cool.
there must be many more designers/creatives with an opinion here.
