How to pull a sicky

Ok - as you might have noticed I was trying to get some ideas on how to pull a sicky yesterday but I managed to come up with a game plan and I thought I would share with you all :)
1. lay the ground work:
mention to at least three people at work that you don't feel so good. For example, i asked if anyone else was felling cold and i closed all the windows on a hot day. I also mentioned to another 2 colleagues that I had a sore stomach.2. always make out that you will be in tomorrow:
for example I was needed for a photoshot for a project and so I was making jokes that i better wash my hair and put some decent clothes on etc. Also mentioned to me that they need me to source some props for a project and I mentioned to them no problem I'll give you a shout in the morning, so I left a post - it on my desk to remind me.3. finally making the call:
As you already layed the ground work to your illness the day before, you'll find you don't have to say anything when you call in sick for example:
I called up and said sorry I won't be able to make it in today and the other person on the phone said I had the feeling you were gonna phone sick today after all you had a sore stomach and you were cold - not to worry just call and let us know how you feeling tomorrow.now you see there i didn't say i was ill but my colleague assumed I was so it was their fault anyway and they kinda gave me the day off anyway!!!!

PS also for added affect leave on your desk a packet of nurofen and also a half eaten bag of crisps!

The best way to pull a sicky is to be very rarely ill, on time to work most days and obviously enjoy and have a lot of pride in your work. Then, if you skive a day everyone will presume you are ill, you don't have to explain what's wrong.
But then again, if you like your job you won't skive very often at all.

Yeah I suppose that was rather daft of me to post this but in a way it was for a laugh.
But don't worry i'm not one of these workers that take the piss and is off every fecking week - like some one i know at my work!
This is my first sicky from this job and even though i am genuinely not feeling to hot I exaggerated more.
I've been working my ass off all day studying trying to improve my career prospects and altho some off you out there must be thinking what a silly bitch (yes I am for posting this thread i will take the credit for that!!!!!) remember there is always more to the story than what you thiink.
last time i try leave tips!!!!
