my girlfriend's mom runs a business selling baby clothes and baby furniture and stuff and is wanting me to build her an ecommerce site. i've never done one before, but i figured i'd give it a shot.

i've done some looking around and shopping cart software and setup interchange cart on the site. it was one of the pre-installed scripts in the hosting cp. checked out the demo store and everything and it looks like a really solid system for being free. only problem is, im looking through the admin panel of this thing and its like reading installation instructions for a stereo in another language.

im sure i could figure out this interchange cart, but the only available documentation online that i've found for it doesn't make any sense...i can't really find any usefull info on it.

im looking for something software driven that is not only easy to setup, but is easy to update inventory because its going to be my girl's mom thats updating the site on a regular basis, im just setting it up...and she isn't very crafty with computers.

what do you guys recommend as far as ecommerce setups go? this isnt a big store either...probably going to be less than 50 items.

    i have no idea but...

dont they have like web services that even she could set up for this kind of thing? though im sure youd want to do the work for it...so that's probably a no-go.
