there's a way to block people? how? at my last residence I had a linksys wireless going and couldn't figure out a way to block people... do tell....

use WEP encryption, or even a password..it's all in the control panel somewhere... but as long as you make sure your own system is secure from snoopers (i.e. setup your File Sharing properly), why not share the bandwidth?

yeah, encryption software does wonders for wireless connections. there are too many people that just leach.
now if they have their data encrypted and allowing you to leach, that's another thing entirely, which i would do. because it's nice!
