Firefox. Some day I realized I wasn't using IE for browsing anymore. Still have IE 5.01,5.5, 6.0 in standalone versions for site testing.

used to use the ole Mozzie 1.6/1.7, but Firefox gives better real estate on screen.

Ok... I found this thread thinking that you must have discussed what you think is the best brouser at somepoint and Firefox appears to be a winner. I currently use Opera but have to launch IE for some sites, including Newstoday as it just don't work in Opera. So I'm testing out Firefox today and I install some tab extensions (namely 'Tabbrowser Extensions') and Newstoday stops working propperly (each topic doesn't expand). Anyone recomend some extensions for Firefox.09 (and where to get them) for increased tab functionality (and anything else for that matter) while retaining compatability with NT?

OK, Camino basically IS Firefox optimized for the Mac, you can get it on Mozilla.org. I have been using it for three weeks and find it just as fast and more stable then Firefox ever was.
The only things I really dont care for in it are the large, colorful navigation(I prefer the solid metallic look of Safari) but it really is a pretty good browser, and seems to work great for the few sites Safari doesn't seem to like to work with.
Safari is still the best if you are on a Mac though, and on my PC i use Firefox or Netscape.IE is obsolete; surfing the web without tabs is just crazy.
