I went to UHart. for a couple of years and transfered out. I used to head out Avon/Simsbury area quite a bit.

I'm in Boston- Mission Hill to be specific. I intern at Modernista! in Chinatown.

Nice place to work I've been in there. It's right next to the Dainty Dot Hoisery Building.

Born and raised in Brookline, and moving back to Boston later this summer after like six years in San Diego and Arizona.
Anybody want to hire me?
- blastofv0
Only half joking with the 'hire me' bit— I've been working solo for the last 2+ years, and I'm trying to figure out if I should look at the full time job market in Boston, or go the freelance/agency route, or just keep plugging away at the solo work... any recommendations from current locals? What's the job market/climate like?
- Woolhouse0
The climate is getting much better although the last year was a streach to get to this point. You could go freelance with aquent which would be easy enough to do. They're pro active about job placement. If your looking for a full time job check out creativehotlist.com asa better option than Moster or career builder. New Jobs posted everyday as of late.
It's a town of people who know people, so go to the aiga events.
BTW I live in JP!
Welcome back home.
- blastofv0
thanks woolhouse, I'll look in to all of that, and I'll definitely get hooked up with the AIGA chapter.
Can't wait to get back to beantown.
