if you are, is it worth it?

member. not really worth it for me, where I live...anymore. I would guess it all depends on where you live and how much you put into it. I think it's worth it for students and those new to the business, but as you get older, it becomes less and less of a value for me.

Why is it of less value, rob? I'm curious.
I'm a member and I think its value lies in how much you you put into it.
I live in a smaller city so it is an important resource for me to stay connected with other designers from all over the country.
Aside from the inspirational reasons, I also feel like its a valuable resource. Plus it keeps me true to the reasons I'm in this business in the first place.

I agree with monkeyshine. Supporting a community is important, what you put into your craft will always help you in the end.
