I have a script which is in a MC in a swf, this swf has a preloader which works fine in other files in the same site but for some reason in the file that uses this script the preloader doesn't show atall, there is just a wait while it loads and then it shows instantly...
how do I get around this?
is it tha attachMovie that is the problem?

I've unchecked the 'export in first frame' and placed the images on the stage after the preloader but before the attachMovie AS.. still no joy

ok I managed it.. had to create a seperate preloader movie to be loaded first preload the other swf and then load it when its ready..
phew!!thank fuck its free beer thursday tomorrow!!
