I'm moving house on Friday... does have anyone experience in moving their broadband service... and also my sky+ box?
Where I'm moving to has sky piped into every house but not sure how I move mine onto it... any clues?

Sky perhaps?

just put it in a big box.
Sky will likely try and charge you £58 for the priveledge of disconnecting your bb.

how foolish of me to consider receiving an informative repsonse uncle.

I think a qualified Sky technician would know more about how to move your sky box than the likes of us!

I had a nightmare recently with Bulldog, someone moved out of the flat and had to cancel the phone with BT cos it was in their name, I switched it to my name which apparently meant the adsl contract was nulled, so they cut the service and tried to charge me £58 disconnect, £30 reconnect, £30 for a new month (even though I was a week through one already paid) and then start a new 12 month contract... just cos we changed the fucking name on the phone bill!!
I basically argued ther piont with them til I was blue in the face on phone and email, I left it saying that they should calculate the cost of taking me to court and getting laughed out because the contract should never have been made in the first place if the phoneline wasn't in my name , is it worth all that for £58 and a lost customer? they never replied so I found another ISP and never paid jack.
cunts.
