Saw this over the weekend...anyone check this out? the movie is so well done, soundtrack is kicking ass, and the whole thing comes together for one really disturbing true story...

I didn't feel sorry for her. It was more of a freak show character piece with not much to say. Very well acted though.

that movie was sick and nasty. I left the theatre it was so bad. no point.
the only other time I left theater was "Ready to wear".

soler, this is the world we live in, if you can't take this "movie" then you're not ready to face anything.

the part that was the most disturbing for me was the rape scene. that was intense and upclose. very powerful movie if you actually watch the whole thing and think about how this has probably been more than just one persons lifestyle.

i get a kick out of people who go to the movies and say stuff like that. or get pissed when 'that's not what really happened' or 'no way, that can't happen in real life' and walk out.
it's a movie... i.e. entertainment. if a movie can keep my attention for an hour and a half then normally, i like it. i don't go looking for facts or some moral justification or whatever.
makes me laugh when upon walking out of the theater people were like 'that scene in the beginning where the guy jumped from that roof just ruined the whole movie for me'.

yup, watched it on saturday...
i must say that one scene is VERY disturbing. still in my head.
when i see things like that i can't help but totally put myself in that persons position...actually made my adrenaline pump and my heartrate was crusin...wheew.
