MS Outlook 2002
Its got everything I need, extensive address book, appointments, alarms, junk mail filters, multiple accounts, HTML templates, archiving, flag for follow up, change colour of messages that are from particular senders, mail merge.. great search features..
I think thats all the features I use.. but there are probably more..
I think its hard to beat..

do u know any guides to doing nice html templates

My office uses Lotus Notes, absolutely fucking horrible email client.

for the templates, I just make an HTML page and import to the stationary folder..
So a tutorial for an HTML page is a tutorial for an email template..
I'm sure you can find that..

Different clients do diffreent things and don't support certain tags etc. If you can get your mail working in Notes it'll work in pretty much every other client!

We used Lotus Notes at General Motors Design in Germany (they still do I think which is sad)... worst thing was they would all say 'Send me a Lotus Note'..aaargh...it's just 'email' guys! hate it when they are so clueless about technology they just use the brand name...

In Linux I use Evolution which I love.

I also think that Thunderbird is great, and it does a pretty decent job of spam biltering out of the box.

I use Thunderbird--it does everything I need it to, and does it damn well. I used Outlook 2000 at work and I miss the calendar integration, but that's really about it.
