Have any of you received an email saying "Dear client of the Citi, As the Technical service of the Citibank have been currently updating the software, we kindly ask you to follow the reference below to confirm your data, otherwise your access to the system may be blocked." Here's the link: https://web.da-us.citibank.com/s…
I compared it to citibanks home site and the distinction is so subtle..except that the login asks for ATM/Debit Card # and PIN instead of Login and Password.
How do they get away with that?

i believe that was actually on the news here not long ago. scamsters, they are.

yes I have gotten that one - and a westpac bank one - very, very clever...except I have an account at neither. I fear for those who do though because they wouldn't know the difference and *zapp* there goes their account details to some bastard scamster.
Kill em all and let a norse god sort em out!

No, its not the actual site. That's what is so scary and clever about it. Have they hacked into citi's site because the similarity of address is so flipping close.
I don't have an account with citi but it made me pause for a second to wonder if I did! :)
I hope Spammers rot in the 7th level of hell, which I think is for sure filled with endless truckloads of rotted spam in 200 degree temps.

Because laws for these type of crimes are not as severe as they should. People like these fuckers should be yet the brides of some ugly fat bastards in jail. Plus their families should be raped and their houses destroyed. Show no fucking mercy!

it shows you how dangerous domain masking really is. I mean they use the same domain/subdomain to show in the browser. Who ever is in charge about domain names and shit like that should totally prevent domain masking. This is horrible.
