I want to build a robot that will follow my dog around the house with a camera... and broadcast his every move to a site, optionally I want to be able to trigger my robot (from the web) to give him treats or scold him when he takes a poop on my carpet! :D

Buy a midget to follow your dog around with a camera. Much cheaper and midgets are much easier to come by.

there's a dog feeder with a webcam that you can connect to the internet to watch your dogs and feed it. there's no way to stop it from pooping, though

My dog can take any midget, might endup eating my robot for all I know.. uhmm..
