any ideas on how we can redesign this web template? the companies that use this are looking for the least amount of images possible. any reference to a slicker site is appreciated.

Yes. Unfortunately we cannot change the Hobo, as Brazos is the company who has contracted this web template, like several others. Everything else is game.
What we want to do is to create a nice look for this generic page (we change the colors according to the company's site that hosts our "Payway" service), and I would like some references to sites in similar business, but with a more professional look.

i say bevel, emboss, drop shadow, overlay and gaussian blur everything.
