A delicate issue...
...so where do I start? It's content heavy so I'm gonna need to try and express the 'sypathetic' approach using type (as opposed to images of doves and old people smiling!).
Anyone got any URL's that may help? I'm thinking it needs to be ornate. Some calligraphy type stuff in the corners. Seen a few designers sites use these kinda patterns but in a contemporary way.

Anyone got and thing I can look at for inspiration?
Pleeeeeeeease.........

yeah those are nice vectors and I posted them in the resource thread yesterday or something. That might be the approach you might want to take, but then again you might want to keep things happy from a concept point of view. Even though Death isn't alwys. Know what I mean?

i was just in a funeral home two nights ago.
try to use light and cleansing colors. white, off white, beige, light blue. there was really no color in the entire place. even the sofas were a light tan.
i would use text as graphic elements and maybe flowers and such.
i felt bad for the dickhead post earlier after just being there. shame on me.

I would reccomend you to use Colors with Dark Shades, monochromatic schemes if you wish and analize your target audience. That defines everything. From colors, serifs and the images you will use.

on a more serious note:
never use black. keep it as light as possible. people in the west are getting fed up with black funerals more and more. in China they understood this already ages ago.
