K. The company I work for is looking for a Flash designer/developer. We'd do the work here but are swamped. Basically we have a 'stick' figure mascot type thing that they want to make dance. Idea 1 is simple, 2 medium and 3 is somewhat advanced in terms of actionscript and time. We'll supply artwork and stuff and we would like you to be in the Chicagoland area, but are willing to outsource elsewhere as well.
Here are the general details of the job.
"Our company would like to outsource some computer programming work. We would like to create a fun and entertaining computer program (Flash) targeting college students. Our vision is for the students to have the option of playing the game on the website, but also being able to download it to their desktop. Overall, the program should be simple, but somewhat cheesy. Due date for this project is August 1st, 2004.
We have 3 options that we would like you to quote on. With each idea, we would need your feedback about costs, time restraints, and feasibility.
Each idea will have some song options that play in the background, as well as a few backgrounds choices.
Idea 1:
There would be a list of several dance moves on one side (moonwalk, head spin etc.) Once the user clicked on the dance move, the character would then execute it.
Idea 2:
There would be a list of several dance moves that the user would be able to click and drag into a playback sequence. Then, the character would execute this series of moves in the allotted time frame.
Idea 3:
The user would chose the dance moves and a pick up line. He or she would then drag them into a box. The character would execute this sequence as he dances in front of a female character. The female character would then either dance with him or continue to ignore him.
