i find it funny (but awesome!) that 2 duluth minnesota bands have been mentioned here already (if thousands and low). it's a damn small town up there and when i lived there low was playing cool small shows and if thousands was spinning and stuff for like 6 people at the local sandwich shop.

hey mercedes' first ep was mint; then they seemed to have diluted their sound ever since, shame cos 'bells' and 'st james st' are boss tunes!!
last album didn't come close to those tunes...
