does this mean that i need a 11-7/8w X 17-1/8 eps (it will be all vector artwork)?

    Actual Size:
    Overall size: 47-1/2 w X 68-1/2 h
    Visual live copy area: 46 X 67 h

    Suggested Mechanical:
    11-7/8w X 17-1/8
Safety - keep 3/8 away from edge

    Stock:
Must be printed on .085 Opaline
both sides are optional. both sides only for greater color intensity

    Finishing
trime to size. packed flat or soft rolled

    Scanning:
all EPS images canned HIGH resolution of 300 DPI or higher, 600 DPI limit
or include original transparencies and/prints to be used for HIGH resolution scanning

tryin to figure out what you are asking exactly.

if you're asking about scaling it down, then there shouldn't be a problem as long as your raster images are scanned at 100% final output size .

of course it is always best to ask these things of your printer bc some are a bit different than others.

as for the scanning part, i like to take care of scanning myself and sending them the files. i can make sure that the file is as i want it to be and tweak small things as much as i like (airbrushing, etc).
if you send the original material to the printer, then they will make sure the colors are set perfectly for their machines... but they can work with your files so long as they are well built.

i think i said all that correctly...

anyway, when iin doubt, pester the shit out of your printer.
