Day or Night?

I have always been the kind of person who works better at night, atleast when it comes to design work. It seems to me that alot of designers work this way, but thats only what I have observed...
So just out of interest, who prefers the day and who prefers the night?

Definitely night. Sometimes I stay up to 5-6am. No ringing
phones and other distractions. If I do work on something during the day & don't go out and do something I feel like I've wasted the day.

At night mostly, very quiet, no distractions as others mention here. but also at day if its raining like hell outside.

I'd like to work whenever i felt like it but i dont have that luxury.

I used to do all my college work at night (starting at around 11pm) , I wish I could do the work I do here at night too.
It definately feels like you're in control, etc.

Yeah, I find that if its sunny outside, I wanna be out playing basketball or something. And for some reason, my best design work always comes out the night before a client wants to see progress...

I work during the day, at night and all the time in between.

definitely night but I hate it when I need to go to sleep after that night. It is just meanless. You get up and it's night again and you just didn't get yoursleep wwell.

Texas heat here. Summertime days i work in the AC. Nighttime is for skating and drinking on the patio.
Winter is about the opposite :)
