    Hey has anyone ever been there? I am going there in August and wanted to find a good cheap place to stay (without staying in a hostel or shelter). I have never been to mexico so i am clueless!

    its a pretty sweet place. south of mexico. Stay away from the touristy areas, not except you dont mind wild tourists hehe!

    nah but seriously, jump on a bus and go to el faro, its a nice small village outside vallarta, no english though, but CHEAP CHEAP food which is good.

    dont forget to go Mismaloya Island, you will thank later. peace.
