I think those videos should have a concept behind it.. even if weren't written before, find some explanation or a storyboard, because without that, iturns the viewing on to something too vague, for the viewers experience
.... looking like the same concept of a personal photo album you keep with the photos of someone special for you... etc..
I could only feel that there was kinda someone's eyes following and tempting the girls on that movies "like switching my self with the lens of the camera as if I'm there." - I don't know what to call it technically, but I think it has a proper name in the cinema/advertising industry.
Plus, with no narrative, no fun. It's nice to show your friends and all.. but it's just a personal experiment (Iguess)
hope it didn't sound too harsh,
...
after all just my thoughts on this.

Q:.. the actresses, /your friends were spontaneously shy on those takes or was it meant to be that way?
the lightnings and the shaking of the camera are cool.
- celia0
hello
yes they're actually shy. But I asked them to laugh and smile, and I think thats what made them even more shy. I think you re right that it needs a concept. I just wanted to experiment with light and editing. But nothing was written there, next time I'm writing before I film.

I agree with with Kodap, but if your are serious about a crit, I would definitly take off the type of camera you used.
It may just be a pet peeve of mine, but if your were to show this on any professional arena, it just scream "amateur" to me.
Keep rockin!
