mine?
thx man.
but hell no, i am about to release something.. but i have started to feel really sick doing most of the corporate rubbish lately..
i've been offered a nice fulltime job (not very design related) and i might just take it and earn decent money to finally spend some more time on the really interesting work.
i got tons of halfbaked sketches, font designs, ideas and what not here..
all of them give me pleasure designing.. kinda lost that good ol' spirit lately.
i have noticed i really love to work on graphics and such when i'm being my own client (who doesn't?), and i am dying to do it more..
so i think i might take up that consultancy job, if i win it... and then clear my mind from corporate design crap and do my own shit late nights...
can't wait really!
:)

enjoy man. ttyl!
- chimchim0
wow...that's heavy
grab it by the balls man...go for it - I suppose it's all about balance - and you seem to have the formula worked out for your happiness:)
Vale

i have to add that the Dutchboy concept is still pending though...
i am in a dilemma right now.. if i stick to commercial design i can team up in a nice design-center that's built right now, or the other job and spend more time and research on truly satisfying design..
hmm..
anyway, tis weekend,
i'm out!
Vale!
:)

I am in SF. Not in North Beach but i work in North beach on Battery and live across the Golden Gate.
Where you working at?
- Donvitoviti0
oh i see on your site.. Pentagram... dang.. I wouldnt mind working there.. great work.
I am at www.akqa.com
- chimchim0
sup tofslie....thanks for the comments
how did you get that job in the first place? I'll be in Washington Sq.
I've been checkin' your site ever since you were a senior in college man:) keep it up
- chimchim0
how much do you spend on Bart each month? I looked at living in Oakland...it was going to be something like $120 a month ....outrageous!
- Donvitoviti0
thanks man... good work on your part.
Now i just need to update my website... none of my work from my job is up :(
toooo busy.
I take Golden Gate Bus into town... its 88 bucks a month. But where i live i get so much more for my money. 2 bedroom place... backyard, patio, garage etc. So it all evens out since the city you get nothing for what you pay.
So i guess 88 is more than a city pass but man.. so worth it.... drivin costs like 350 a month for Toll and Gas and parking.. or more....
anyway.... hope you like SF
- chimchim0
thanks bro
I'm able to walk if I want...just under 2 miles...
or take the muni if I need a break:)
Lets hook it up sometime this summer!
- Donvitoviti0
Sounds like a plan... ill check with my wife to see if its ok...lol
j/k
have a good weekend.Peace
- mayo0
sorry about not responding yesterday chimchim.
I used to live on Treasure Island when it was still a naval base. Muni was great, i was still in high school when i last lived there, so fare was just a quarter, plus the two free transfers. I liked BART, too. Too bad it didn't go as far as it does now when i lived there.
- chimchim0
..I have been an Air Force brat myself...
2 transfers ehh..that should get me to work no problem...or I can just take a hike...my house is within 2 miles.
Too bad BART tickets are based soley on distance....what a rip.
