i work in an Advertising Agency (Y&R) and was wondering what are the pros/cons of working in an ad agency?

i dunno why that is so i worked for a a student run ad agency in my school and the the only hot girls were in account.

its always like that, until you prove yourself youre just "that guy over there" but as soon as you do something right.. people are always in your office.

a lot of work, and the deadlines are nuts, but i like it. i love that Y&R pays for classes.... soon i will get a masters and be an art director, i hope (if all goes well)

In smaller offices/studios you're more than just an asset. Agency's tend to be more negatively effected by viral ideas regarding the "current -state-of-affairs-of-the-industr... basically a morass of bullshit saddled in a grab-asstic cube-farm.
