I am trying to find ways in which to market my work. Right now I have a series of pattern designs and would like to sell them as fabric or paper designs.
Question: How do I get into that nitch? Anyone know of any marketing firms that deal with this kind of design?
I'd rather not try and go through Aquent, guru.com, or other online firms. They have proven to be pretty useless.
Anyone have any tips?

Yeah mudbutt, go straight to the fabric manufacturer, or buyer and see if they can do anything about it.
Oh crap. Dude I'm sorry. I got your name wrong.
I've just been looking for a reason all damn day to type mud butt.

"niche"
I would suggest going direct to companies that make apparel. Like alternative apparel, etc. Or even a local shop- see if they dig the work and they may go in half on getting it produced.

OK. I realize hitting the right niche is important, but it you search for textile designer/producers on google there are a million. I would like to be able to shortcut the bs of sending thousands of emails to cyberspace and hit the right people who market only the designs. Alternitive clothing shops typically have some kid managing it and they have nothing to do with the purchasing or production of the clothes.
"niche" is right. but it's hard to find.
