I'm designing a brochure for both English and Mandarin. I've been sent a Chinese font and the copy in a word doc. When I install the font I can view the characters in the word doc, but not in InDesign. Any suggestions as to how I can get this to work? Are there any settings neyond the fonts that need to change?

first off, try to close and reopen your programme so that the fonts can register (duh)
copy into the C:\Windows\Fonts directory if you're on PC.
if that fails,
you may need to use Adobe's Font Manager to install, or there's a font directory specific to Adobe programmes if I don't recall wrongly.
