I'm publishing some PDFs for web with Acrobat 6 Pro. for Mac, and some people are unable to view the PDFs.
Anyone ever had this issue before?

save in a pdf 1.3 or 1.4 format. many people don't yet have pdf 1.5 (acrobat 6)

you didn't happen to set any security on it didja?
file names aren't too long are they?
- tobor0
Gorbie: There is some security on them, but it was set so that viewers can't bugger with the contents of the files. There was no security for opening.
here is an example of a name:
Freedom-HEV-TechSpec.pdfI don't use alternative characters or spaces in the names, but do you think the above is too long?

i thought the limit was 31 - but for real - i've had issues with that before, and it took forever to find out it was something so simple.
so i suggest trying that and making absolute sure the security isn't causing the issues aswell.
