Being somewhat new to After Effects, I was wondering what the best way to build a portfolio would be? I mean, obviously, the greats have portfolios based on client/inhouse work. They have source material to work with, usually. But for someone who's not had training in an application like that (other than books or web tutorials), what kind of source materials is best to be used? PSDs? .movs?
