when you load a jpg remotely you can't toggle the quality thru as. it's very simple in order to know it's actual quality it first has to load the actual image so you already have it. but that's as far as i know. you can toggle the flash quality thru as though.

So, do you casually know the as code to toogle the image?
Thanks!

ehm. like i said it isn't possible. well i think it's not possible anyways. because you have to load the jpeg first so there is no use for changing the quality anyways. and if it would be possible how can you change a low quality jpeg to a high quality? doesn't make sense. i you refer how to toggle the flash quality thru as then it's like this (flash 5) e.g. lowest: _quality="LOW" (other options are "MEDIUM", "HIGH" and "BEST". it is quite usefull when you have for instance a heavy intro where speed is more important than the looks. set it low first and after that increase the quality again. then again cpu's are getting faster so sometimes it isn't an issue at all.
