Postscript printing in OSX

My Epson 1200 has died and it was vital to us. I used the late Adobe PressReady as the RIP software but we're in a bit of pinch since we do need something with postscript printing capabilities. I've looked at the Epson 4000 but don't really know anyone that's has any experience with it. is the RIP OSX compatible?
Any help would be appreciated.

I prefer Canon to Epson but then that's just me. Had nothing but hassles from ceapo Epson build quality.

the dude at tech support says it handles type 1,2 and 3 postscript files. we'll see when i arrives. right row we have an epson 3000 and it took a dump. we are usiing the epson stylus rip software. good luck man
