Text Scramble in OSX10.3

  Does anyone have the solution to the scrambled text problems you get in OSX10.3? It's really getting to be irritating. It happens in Safari, Mail and any other application you use.

  try taking out fonts one by one to see which one is causing it (if feasible).
  The less fonts you have open, the less the chances are of it happening.
  at work, our biggest problem was always helvetica fractions. ever since we took that off the machines, it hasn't been happening.
