so I need to put up a portfolio site for freelance work, but I'm usually way too tired from working 40 to 60 hours a week during my day job.
anyone got ideas on how to get motivated again? I can only browse flash sites so much...

it's up to you... browse some sites to get motivation and inspiration... but first refresh yourself with some kind of relaxing vacation away from computers.. - it helps, really.

Draw funny pictures in on every scrap of paper that you find.

don't look at xhtml/css siteschoose subject matter from the portfolio and find common themes

teh last time i went on vacation, it was to disneyworld in the middle of summer.
after a few days of humid 90 degree weather lookin' futilely for Mickey, I was ready to pesonally kick Michael Eisner's ass.
Next year, it'll be NYC like usual.

My personal sites inspirate have come from visits to art galleries or from places I've travalled to. It's much more fun when your theme is something that you find interesting.
