Ok, im sure it's been asked before, but I'd rather be safe then sorry...
Let's say I want to use some car pics in an Ad to sell auto loans for a bank. Can I take my digtial cam and shoot pics of a corvette, ford focus, mini cooper, etc to use in the ad?
My boss wants me to do this, so any links explaining why I can or cannot would be great!
p.s. I've looked all around gettyimages, veer and others can cant find any RF cds that have good car pics.

Thanks for the stockphoto tip!
I really need to know if I can use a pic I take of a name brand car though...

its fine as long as there's no specific things that stand out....no number plates obviously / if you took pix of a specific car like a rare bodykitted Skoda - then there's be an issue

yes if you are the ones shooting them, but I would be careful as to not show brands/logos of the companies. Obviously, the shape of the car is enough.
