guys.
I'm trying to get a link to download a .sitx file, but it's not working on the mac. The PC version (.exe) is being downloaded when you click on the relevant link, but the mac one doesn't. Well, strangely enough, it DOES on the PC, but not on the mac. And ctrl-clicking on it doesn't give me the option to save.
so, how will I create a downloadable self extracting sit file?

In Stuffit Deluxe, you can make a self extracting file for MacOS classic and Windows, but the sitx format isnt self extracting.
thats strange...you should be able to download any type of file using 'Save as'?
