what about trying some vector mountains? it seems like it could be a little stronger, like a "header" you know, a "header!" =) a bit darker...i dunno...

Maybe this is because some text are aliased and some are not. Maybe it is just me being me. But it looks as if there are a bit too many font types. It doesn't really help putting attention at concentraded spots, instead it works the opposite way and creates a bit off attention to everything and everywhere. On the other hand, the orinigal ment-to-be sections etc are more or less set by colors and graphics.
...For me. So feel free to ignore.

it's smooth, I like the shadowing effect on the side that run into the rest of that background. Also the color scheme is nice.
