In Flash what would the command be to block a righclick on mouse over of a button?
For example: on (rollOver, dragOver)
what would you put there for right click?
Thanks for the help.
Best,

yeah tim, there were a few people that created menus by right clicking in Flash. I can't remember who did that but it was nifty. Might be in the dB here. :)

Users also expect applications to support the right-click context menu. Now you can build an app with dynamically customized menus. For example, if you want to give the user a way to navigate by right-clicking, you can. Because they're dynamic, these menus can change depending on what a user clicks. The only catch is you'll always see "About Macromedia Flash Player."

Thanks for the info, I'll look into it further. I'm just trying to block someone from downloading photos off of a client site.

ahhh, can't you do it with JS if it's not Flash-based? Or is it. Either way that right-click menu for Flash is quite nice. ;)

Here's a JS one I made earlier

But remember - people can always print screen

It's all flash based. When the rollover right now it goes to a blank image. But when it's right clicked it goes back to the image. I want to make it so when the right click it goes to the blank image. Understand the they can print scree but I'm also working on a theory to block that also.

hmmm? good question, to be honest, unfittoprint might know.

If you don't want ppl to save your pics, don't put it on-line. Trying to block rightclicking or downloading of shit never worked and never will.

never say never

...and you also have a way to stop Mac users just dragging the image to the desktop?
- tparsons0
nice find UnFit... Thanks
Ribit... If it's in flash how would you drag an image to your desktop?

sorry I though that part of the site was non-Flash.
How are you planning to disable screenshots? There was a photo database site a few years back that tried this with a plugin that users had to install to view photos at all, and which disabled all screenshot systems on the computer... Thats the only way isnt it?
