hey how do I make a "½" typing in Quark on my mac?

not possible. well not in classic mac os. should have a font for that. search pvn. i've posted a link to that font. but there are prolly a lot more out there.

in your measurements tool (where you can change to caps etc) at the end there's fraction otpions, which basically pushes the number up or down...
hope that makes sense.....

if you click on the end one it makes the numbers small, and the others push the numbers up or down.......

it's not just quark, it's mac. you just can't do fractions by special keystrokes. you need a font with fractions in order to need fractions.
