If you're really into it, try ebay.
I think you can get the Sharp MD-MT90 at WalMart now too, that's pretty nice one.

MD has more options for recording live sound and I'd like to avoid paying more than $200-250 for it. But thanks for the useless comment anyways, Jevad.

sorry, didn't think it was funny. if you'd read my initial post, you would've seen that I was asking specifically for something with a mic input, not just a device for playing back audio.

MD is the best portable solution for recording anything live. almost every MD portable recorder/player has a mic input, because it can go throug the regular recording input 1/8" jack.
i believe anything that is not NetMD will be cheaper. i got this Sony MZ-R500 for $140 or so.

I have a sony md player too. Last year;'s model. Worked perfectly and the audio is very good. I highly recommend it.
