green is good?

i have a problem with green. in clothes, graphics ,fabrics etc but i find its necessity in nature unaviodable.
On the other hand my girlfriend loves green......and were about to paint our flat.

girls look good in green, not so sure about a green room though, how about a compromise? a room with some green in it? or a custom print thingie with different greens and autumnal colours in it, or something, i dunno... my 2 pence.

i have to say, i think an olive green is rather nice if used sparingly, but it's all preference at the end of the day.

after viewing bitlounge's post i have to say I am more in fear of grass green than any other.......I'm liking the autumnal colours......maybe this is something physcological from my mispend youth days of throwing up on white(green) lightning and 20/20! or two many tackles that ended up with my face pummled into the footy pitch...

weird. brendanO i was in the same position over a year ago. my girl wanted to paint some walls green.
so i looked all over for a suitable color. the choice... marshall fields green and their maroon. i got it off of one of their bags.
painted our bedroom in the green. it looked great. then painted two walls, (north and west) green and 1 intersecting wall in the living room maroon and it looked faboo. i could'nt believe how well green turned out. give it a shot.

i tried stamping my manly authority on the situation and her reply was......
it will take me less time to paint the room than it will take you to get back from work!!

green in a kitchen,
ice blue & white for bathroom,
deep red for hallway,
rusty orange & white for living room,
purple & white for bedroomthat's what i'd like anyways.

in response to brandons comment about throwing up green from white lighting... I once throwup after drinking a grape soda( i think they call it pop everywhere else) and my puke was purple which was really cool accept my mom had to pull over on the highway which was kinda embarrassing but still the color was cool... so how about purple? Girls dig it and it can be very relaxing

my girl wanted a green bedroom, it actually turned out quite nicely. the room gets a lot of light, and we used an apple green. the effect is quite pleasing and relaxing really. get some red sheets and you're all set.
