I'm trying to open an .eps in Illy 10 WIN. This is the message I get "the MPS Parser is unable to parse the file." Any idea's as to the problem, more specifically how to get this file to open.

could be from a newer version of illy (CS). try opening it in photoshop and see if anything weird's going on.
you may have to send it back to have it saved down or find a box with cs on it.

Are you sure it is a Illy eps? Could be photoshop. Try opening it in Photoshop and see if it opens.
Also, it could be CS, and then you would maybe have problems if it used complexities that are not transferable to 10.

why don't you try to 'place' it..?
you know like... import it... into another document...
- swollenelbow0
placing sometimes works, yes, if it's a new version it won't give you that error tho...it will tell you specifically it's a new version. placing it is your best bet...thosethat, you get the giant fly swatter award of the day.

that message comes up when you don't have enough memory. Is that file large?

Thanks for the tips... I couldn't seem to place the file, and when I do open it in PS it is all messed up. I'm looking for another version of it. Thanks so much for the quick help.
