  what PC dynamic dns programs do you use? I need one to upload my ip as my ticali broadband doesn't seem to have a static ip address.

  DynDNS-Updater, which is on the list previously mentioned, works like a charm, and runs as a service to almost not be bothersome in the background. Use it, - all the other ones are a pain in the ass

  yep. some routers have that ddns option but since it's preconfig not all dyndns services are supported but most standard ones like dyndns.org is. i guess it's getting a bit of a standard. that's the best way to do by the way.
